Also, while I was at art walk down at the brewery a few weeks back, I came across a photog who had some really interesting prints. Beyond just being fantastic photos, they all were printed with a process called front or face mounting, the company he was using was PC Colour Lab. What it is is they print the photo on something like a Duratrans or a Fujitrans and using clear adhesive mount it to the face of acrylic or plexi, the result is a high gloss, very smooth, very bright, very cool.

The lab offers a free 8x10 sample, you pay shipping. It is pretty cool.

I'm still learning how to shoot and make HDR photos look good in the dark. Any ideas?

Took this while walking around aboard the Star of India here in San Diego this afternoon.

Not with the big Nikon, but with my little G9. Still, I rather like it.

Just goes to show it's the photographer, not the camera.

    Nicely done, B!

I shot my daughter's first dance recital back in June, and I have to say that it was THE MOST difficult shooting situation I've experienced. And that's even with the D3 and an f/2.8 lens! I'd love to get some more practice in those settings, but I'm not sure where I'd get it.

well... it just so happens that I run my own theatre company.... (we perform in the summer... its a summer workshop) This summer we'll be performing "Les Miserables".... so you may have to come out to Azusa and take a few shots!
