Q's Amazon Prime rec's of the week
Yeah I got two this week. And no neither are Annihilation, but if that's what you're feelin right now, knock yourself out (always watch Annihilation).

    Long Lost
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7282278/
This film popped up on my recommended list and the cover has a nice lookin girl, so of course I click. Then I find out it's Catherine Corcoran so that made it an auto-watch. Main character Seth gets invited to the house of his rich half-brother that he never knew he had. The brother is super weird and creepy and I think that's what kept me watching. Everything he does is uncomfortable. It kind of reminded me of Cheap Thrills, but instead of paying to do crazy ****, the guy was just paying to hang out.

    Under the Silver Lake
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5691670/
Spiderman and Venom team up movie... kind of. Found this one cause I heard Summer Bishil is in it. On the surface it looks like another "runnin around LA gettin into trouble" kind of movie. It's more like a mystery that didn't need to be solved except that the lead has nothing else going on in his life that he basically has to. It was interesting enough that I stayed to figure it all out. What I don't believe in this movie is that the landlord let him stay in the overpriced apartment (all of LA, right?) for months without paying rent.
