You folks are the paying public, now is your negotiation period. Post it here if you arent satisfied. Better for both sifes if they know how the product is being recieved.

With all of the protesting going on nowadays. People should just hire protesters to protest the ticket hike.

Front row of 300's in the corner went up $2 each, to $49.50. So, now with an extra preseason game making 3 at regular price, and the 41 game regular season, that's an increase for me of $271 (or just over 4%).

Let's look back in time: My seats: Upstairs corner, 1st row.

Season: Per Seat Price: (early-bird renewal pricing, if not, substantially more)

    2010-11 $20.00 each
    2011-12 $23.50 (17% increase)
    2012-13 $35.00 (49% increase)
    2013-14 $35.50 (1% increase)
    2014-15 $37.50 (6% increase)
    2015-16 $44.00 (17% increase)
    2016-17 $47.50 (8% increase)
    2017-18 $49.50 (4% increase)

Sorry Kings, time to let 'em go. I understand that success drives the market, but with your greed, you brought it upon yourselves. Especially since the 49% increase a few years back was announced well BEFORE they won their first Cup. Nearly a two-and-a-half times (250%) increase over seven (7) seasons, but granted, two Cups. It's been fun, but it's just too hard to justify the constant price increases.

I'll likely be out after this year as well. Love having my seats but I'm no fool. I've been watching the open market value and I'm confident I could attend just as many games as I currently do and save money by using the secondary market. Maybe even get "better" seats for some games. Going to try to call my rep this week and voice my concerns, I'm sure they won't do anything though. Only thing that will wake them up is when their "sellout" streak ends.

The fact I've been getting shafted for 15 years by being required to buy virtually value-less tickets for preseason games doesn't make the 16th any more palatable. The frozen fury game was never 'included' in the season ticket package. My point is that I feel that 2 preseason games is enough penetration from Kings management; they didn't have to add a 3rd did they?
I'm definitely thinking of becoming a buyer in the 2ndary ticket market next year. It makes less and less sense to stay on.

If they win the Cup this year will you agree to pay the invoiced price and the 3rd pre season game without complaint?

They do plan on winning the Cup every year and they charge you today as if they already won tomorrow.

Eventually you will get maxed out. Someone else will slide in, they will be maxed out. Then the model will be adjusted to build value (no fee wednesday!)

Anyways, there is no shame in not being able to afford "your" season tickets after 7, 10, 19, 30 years. I really feel like there is no bad seat at Staples Center.

    Yes, mine did too.

So they are finally more than the $16.00 each I paid for Colonnade seats at the Forum in 1991.
