IMHO I would pump the brakes just a bit on Antuna. His hatrick in the Mexico match was against a "rec-league" of a country team.

Antuna still has trouble "finishing" IMHO.

Would I want him signed to the G's? Sure, but only if the price is decent.

The G's really need a real 10, and somebody who can finish up front.

I dunno, the USOC has become a bust. You keep playing the same regional teams over and over and over again.....year after year.
    It's grown tired. Nobody cares.
Except now that LD is bringing a USL team to San Diego I might have another excuse to return to heaven for a game should they ever link up....

FYI, I sold my stock in Boateng.

Last year I thought he was a good investment. I should have sold last year.

Just when I sold my stock in Emma, he gets a goal. lol

The G's minus 6 internationals, played 20 minutes of good play. The rest was pretty poor, but it was enough to get the decision.

Meanwhile I am very concerned about the lack of service to Zlatan. How long will he be able to still be engaged and interested in matches if he keeps getting horrific service?
    This squad needs a play-maker.

....and another thing, I wasn't that cool with Zlatan taking a seat in the middle of the field after Cuello's mess of a "pass" back to Zlatan.

It has to be frustrating, I'm sure. Zlatan should know that the squad is without 6 internationals, and the bench (including Cuello) is "barely" and 2nd team....so you know there is no quality.

On one hand the G's have to do better to get your world class striker the ball, but on the other hand, he's getting paid $7 mill., so he should show more interest in the match, even thought the quality of some players is severely lacking.

....and Lletget: What happened to you?!?!?!

Cali Classico was as horrific as they come.

The wheels have come off the wagon.

Play amazing for 15-20 minutes then the whole thing is a nosedive of epic proportions.

The derby is going to be a bloodbath.
