Gaborik "liked" the Kings Instagram post announcing the hiring.

What player on the bench is going to be calling out the plays and is he going to have signs to do so?

Who can they hire to get Anze Perimetar to skate to the net?

You realize your exact criticism of Kopitar is very likely a direct result of the conservative coaching strategy he was following, right?

We will see in about 4 months if that is true?

Anything is possible, but there was a time even under Sutter when Kopitar took the puck to the net a lot more. Watch any of his highlights from the 2 cup runs. It's possible that Sutter discouraged that play from him, but I'm not so sure.

I mean, it seems way more likely that Kopitar was instructed to focus on a conservative offensive gameplan that kept him in a strong position defensively (to make up for injuries and roster shortfalls) than it would be the case that he just decided to do it on his own against the coaching staff's wishes.

Hope the Kings aren't interested in signing Dale Hunter for some type of position.
