Not sure how the forwards are going to fall out but I think the D is going to be something like:
    Forbort-Doughty
    Muzzin-Folin
    Amart-ladue
    Gravel

In fact if anything changes it's a swap for muzz with forbort. Minutes wise Drew is going to be over 28 and everyone else will be 15-18.

Shore was better than Dowd last year, has more upside, and is younger. He is the first player I thought of when talking about players who should improve away from Sutter.

I'm hoping Flats gets cut from the roster.

Shore will be in the AHL in a year. He isn't good, and the upside is diminishing.

Dowd had flashes of good last year, Shore had flashes of decent. I'm not holding my breath for either of these players but I still give the advantage to Dowd, scoring wise. The only thing sure has going for him is face off ability other than that he's useless.

Time will tell. I'm on Team Mondo for this one. Shore was AHL player of the something a couple years ago. I really think Sutter broke him with the short leash and focus on defense.

I would say this is a career defining season for Shore.

Well from today's lines in camp I got

    Cammy-Kopitar-Brown
    Pearson-Carter-Toffoli
    Gaborik-Kempe-Brodzinski
    Clifford-Shore-Lewis

    Forbort-Doughty
    Muzzin-Ladue
    Fantenberg-Martinez
    Folin

    Quick
    Kuemper

Andreoff was in for Gaborik. So I'm guessing Gaborik takes his place opening day. Not sure where Dowd slots in

I agree with Mondo on this as well. Shore's younger and bought into the system better than Dowd has.

As for my expected opening night lineup, I'd like to see something resembling the following:
    Cammalleri - Kopitar - Brown
    Pearson - Carter - Toffoli
    Kempe - Shore - Brodzinski
    Clifford - Dowd - Lewis

    Forbort - Doughty
    Muzzin - Martinez
    Folin - LaDue

    Quick
    Kuemper

    Ex: Andreoff, Nolan, Gravel
