The year before last I about broke even or made money on my tix for all the games i couldn't make in 116 row 8 in all except the Monday night games. Last season I lost money on every game but two. They probably would have kept me as an STH if they hadn't raised prices. I'll get better seats for less money this year. PR4 here i come!

Just pay full price you cheapskate!!!!!

My favorite cheapskate can't afford to lose money on the secondary market? And he has to cry about it online to a bunch of strangers?

    What a cheap cheapskate.

I am pleased to have opened this can of worms. The irony is delicious.

They will become "popular" with this group when they start winning.....ie go deep into the playoffs. Until such time, yes, secondary market for Kings tickets will be the same as it has been.

I don't understand why this thread was created in the first place.
The Kings are not unique.....it's supply and demand. It's not that hard to understand.
Cheap...by what standard? When comparing Kings ticket prices to previous Kings ticket prices, or when comparing them to other teams' secondary market tickets?

I'm a guy who goes to about 30-40 games a year, and not a season ticket holder. I buy my tickets from Stubhub or from scalpers (maybe not anymore). I have noticed a steady increase in Kings ticket prices in the markets I buy them from. I agree its supply and demand, and that is why I call Kings resale market prices high, when compared to each previous Kings season, but especially since 2011 and the gentrification of DTLA which I have noted previously in other threads on this site

I've been thinking about going to the Kings/Vegas game in Vegas Nov 19th. The first time I checked the ticket prices on Barry's, a few weeks ago, they wanted $100 ea for upper bowl, the cheapest ticket available. I checked this past weekend and the price is dropping, down to $78 I think. I'm thinking it may be due to the shooting, people are hesitant about going out there right now... Anyone else going?

The problem right now is the Dodgers are so hot right now.The only game I think will be easy to sell is Saturday. All of the games this month 14th,15th and 18th fall on a night the Dodgers will be playing in the NLCS.That will definitely affect ticket sales
