While I get that the Kings/Ducks rivalry is strong, I still think the Kings/Sharks rivalry is felt more. When I'm in my Kings gear and out and about, and I see someone is their San Jose duds, I'll never fail to catch their eye and give em a sneer. I hate the Sharks!! The "Clowe Incident" at the end of the 2012 regular season. Thornton slid across Staples Center after beating the Kings in OT in the 2011 Playoffs in game 6.

We've met em in the Playoffs four times, won two and lost two. The reverse sweep of 2014 was one of my sweetest moments as a Kings fan. One of the bitterest was watching the Kings get outclassed by the Sharks in 2016.

I hate their lame "Beat LA!" chant. I hate their mascot. I hate their fans' stupid "Chomp"ing thing they do on the power plays.

To my mind, the rivalry with the Ducks doesn't hold a candle to the Sharks.

They're not talking about you. They're talking about the teams on the ice.

They've never won the Cup. Until they do, they can't hold a candle to either the Kings or the Ducks.

When you stop and think about it... all makes perfect sense

For a very, very specific reason. He doesn't know... what he doesn't know.
