I wouldn't be surprised if this was the plan all along. Helps us restock with minimal costs and makes room for the guys we're grooming in Ontario etc. Would be a smart move by Blake. And if we're sitting in a nice playoff position they could rethink this move to retain our depth.

I remember when he was Minnesota's goalie of the future but his play declined and I guess the Wild lost faith in him when Dubnyk arrived. My read is that he's better than Zatkoff but will play so well that he'll get a better offer somewhere next year.
Please never mention Crapoff's name again.

He's just another below average goalie getting glorified by our super secret system, that no other team has been able to replicate. Like all others before him.

Well, most others no doubt. Let's look at some data:

Kuemper with the Kings 1.88 GAA and .941 Sv% - Previous team MIN 3.13/.902
Budaj with the Kings 2.12/.917 - Previous NHL Team MON 2.51/.909 - After the Kings TBL 3.10/.889 (combined 16-17 and 17-18)
Enroth with the Kings 2.17/.922 - Previous DAL 2.38/.906 - After TOR 3.94/.872
Scrivens with the Kings 1.97/.931 - Previous TOR 2.69/.915 - After EDM 3.01/.916
Bernier with the Kings (12-13) 1.88/.922 - After trade to TOR 2.70/.922

Too bad it did not work so well of Zatkoff and Bishop.

    Ranford deserves a raise.
