I've only seen highlight clips of KC.

But every report I read about him has been nothing but encouraging and positive. Really looking forward him to him taking the next step and continue his progress. I am guessing 2 years before seeing possible NHL callup?

Back in the day upscale steak/seafood houses would cover the ice in the salad bar with kale for asthetic reasons...now they want you to eat it?

He's expected to be a top defenseman for Team Canada at the WJC.

Two years pro experience is pretty ambitious for a defenseman getting his first NHL callup. Not saying it can't happen, but he has to transition from juniors to the AHL first. He'll have to incorporate structure, situational awareness, and strength to a much higher level.

The skill is unquestionable. But that's not enough in the NHL, especially for a defenseman.

Even for juniors, those numbers are pretty insane.

I totally agree with this. Two years is aggressive for a defenseman. And he also looks a bit small, so he has some growing to do before playing with men.

That said, he looks to me like the best defensive prospect we've had since Doughty. He stuck in camp longer than I expected and was remarkably savvy with the puck given his age. I'm guessing he impressed the Kings too.

So, I guess I'm saying it's possible his schedule is accelerated (especially, gulp, if Doughty leaves).

Kale Clague does sound like a god awful Irish dish.

    Beef Wellington
    Eggs Benedict
    Lobster Thermidore

    Kale Clague.

Let's not rush things. We'll ask that question again come Halloween.

Eggs Benedict and Lobster Thermidor are two of my favorites and I certainly enjoy Beef Wellington....
Could you recommend a good Irish restaurant that carries all these dishes???
    OʻDennys ?

    O'Hurlihy's?

Of course, I wasn't intending to imply that those three dishes are traditional Irish fare...just the first ones that came to mind named for someone/somewhere/some event, etc. Here's a more proper list:

    Waterford Blaa
    Guinness Pie
    Limerick Ham
    .
    .
    .
    Kale Clague

And to be fair, it's really a Manx surname...but I ain't got time to dig into that. So yeah, I'm taking the easy route. But close enough.
