He owes an apology to his teamates, his family and the fans. He takes the second highest salary on the team and its paid by us the fans and he owes us an apology and it appears we will lose this series and it is time that the ownership takes this seriously and rebuilds a culture of respect and gamemanship like the Vegas Knights have shown and not just hold onto a solo proud player who is skilled in many ways but not in knowing how to join forces and submit his pride for the good of his teamates and fans. He is definetly no Lidstrom that is for sure as that player had class and skill not just the latter.
This statement makes it seem like Doughty made this head hunting hit on purpose--you're tripping. We all know Doughty isn't dirty, imature maybe.

In regards to Kopi: I don't care if we have a quiet captain in the room, as long as he's not quiet on the scoreboard where it counts. Our issue clearly is team composition, counter attack strategy and an unbalanced, over commitment to defence over Offense.

I didn't like this matchup from the beginning tbh. Reason why is the Knights' weakness--their blueline higher pairings where they are solid vs spectacular--will not be challenged by the Kings' skill. Kings' blueliners, meanwhile, are gettin besieged. Honestly Quick is the reason this series looks tight.

I'm not sold on Stevens either. Seems like a great dude and all, but vs Gallant meh. Only reason I'm holding off on judging him is the holes in the lines.

Kings need to be careful here in the next couple games. They have to resist the urge to start opening things up for goals and stick with what got them there. Still might not be enough, but at least this way they're in it.

Another example of Stevens being clueless. He scratched speedster iafallo and is playing slow as molasses Clifford. Why is Clifford even playing in this series Stevens doesn’t know how to match up.

    Scoring problems?!?!?! What!?!?!

Yea....same as it has been for many, many seasons.
Keeping Stevens as coach.....and we are surprised scoring still comes hard for the Kings?

Rieder-Carter-Toff is a real head scratcher, unless it's 3rd or 4th line. Kempe needs to be in the top 6, ideally with Carter. Kempe-Carter-Pearson.

Agree that Kempe needs more minutes. And Toffoli needs to step up. He hasn't played well for quite a while now.

I thought sure Stevens would stack the line the last few minutes of the previous game. Needed Kopi & Carter out there together....but he just stuck with the same old, same old. I think he's less willing to change up the lines than Sutter was!!

The D was so thin in the first two games that the forwards had to hang back so as to not get caught by Vegas' speed. The reason I see they aren't scoring is because dump-and-chase/turnover doesn't work when they only send one forward in. If the forwards could gamble just a bit, while relying on a solid-D to cover getting caught in transition, we would see scoring as usual. Instead we get a team neurotic about not getting caught by Vegas speed.

These two games reveal a few important facts:

    - Doughty can name his price for his next contract and the Kings will happily pay it
    - Muzzin is much more important than most here give him credit for
    - Quick doesn't rely on his D to look like an all-star as much as some people think

Jason makes excellent points, and with both Doughty and Muzzin in the lineup you will see more offensive chances.
