    Default Four years ago today

Martinez finishes off one of the best playoff series I have ever seen.

...and Dewey eats it going over the boards. That was the most nerve-wracking but fun series I've watched.

25 years ago today, the Kings beat Montreal, 4-1, to open the 1993 SCF, three days after winning the most nerve-wracking series I'VE ever seen (1993 Campbell final over Toronto). The 2014 Chicago was the only one that's comparable. Great memory 4 years ago today (made greater by the Kings winning the Cup, unlike '93).

I firmly believe that that 93 conference final and the 2014 conference final rate as the finest hockey playoffs ever.

Certainly the best the Kings have ever been involved with, no doubt.
