If Blake signs Voynov and he makes the team better, Voynov is screwing the Kings twice.
Embrace the tank. Resistance is futile.

By the time it gets resolved and Voynov serves out his sentence, it will be summer.

Hopefully Blake will show himself to be smart and deal Voynov for a pick to kickstart the rebuild.
The more picks the better. Voynov is no asset for this mess of a team. He is better served as a get for a pick.

I agree, but his value will be higher after a season back in the league, and with a year or two left on a reasonable contract.

On THIS team? I can't think of a way to decrease a player's asset value any more than to play for this and next season's Kings team.

If NHL scouts are unable to extract and focus upon a player's ability despite his surroundings, they shouldn't be NHL scouts.
