    Default Karlsson traded to sj

    Well, this is bothersome.

Good for them, they have to keep up with Vegas for the Pacific.

Sharks gave up random peeps and got Karlsson. Okay then.

Pacific is going to be tight as hell. Knights, Sharks, Ducks, Kings... poor Coyotes, Flames, Canucks, and Oilers. lol

Ottawa tanking in a year they don't even have their first rounder. Somehow Colorado got the better end of this deal than Ottawa.

And how the hell did Blake end up as the only GM to get fleeced by the worst management group in the NHL? News has it, as predicted, that Gaborik may be done after back surgery. His deal gets covered by insurance and LTIR, while the Kings took on a bigger retirement contract for the same length on a slow, old player who happens to play in the same spot that is the only real position of strength in the freaking organization? You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a 2nd pairing left shot defenseman.

Blake has a positive outlook philosophy of paying it forward. We fleeced Columbus to get Carter, and so it is such...

I thought whoever got EK would be screwed. I am not convinced he will ever be what he was pre-injury and his next salary will be for past production. But Dorian proved me wrong. How did the Senators get such a small return back and NOT have traded Bobby Ryan in the deal. It's simply astounding. The Athletic did a piece on the expected return and all of the returns were healthy (think Martin St Louis trade). Ottawa got a 3C, 6D, two good but not great prospects, and 2 picks. Derp. News flash: quantity does not equal quality.

San Jose just became the class of the Pacific division for sure.
