I'd rather hear that low level hum than this high level of dumb.

Faust can't even find the right phrase to describe simple hockey plays, and today Fox said he was surprised by how much Kovalchuk likes to carry the puck. They describe the game that they want to see, not the one that is unfolding before them.

I really enjoyed Fox telling me how great it was when the Kings strung together a set of 3-4 passes in a row in the third period. As if that is some major accomplishment for any NHL team to play with pace and make good passes.

It's their job to make it exciting and make us have hope in a game, even when we're dreadful and buried. I have no issue with that. Trouble is the coaching staff and players seem to be buying into it and that's a BIG problem.

Most of us like low level hummers during a game.

Low level hum (Meth), not an electrifying hum.
