Sturm is the guy to watch here. I bet he becomes the head coach next season.

We’ll probably have to throw in a 2nd and a 4th but I’d be ok with that.

Except for that massive retarded idea to have his team get greedy, mess around with puck on a PP with one goal up, late in the 3rd instead of playing keep away, leading to a late second tie and loss against the Russians! Didn't the Germans learn not to advance on the Russians in the winter???

They need to ship some players, can't throw a hissy fit and have your coach fired everytime things don't go your way. Send a message.

Apparently - when Stevens used less than positive language after Buffalo game...that was it for the team.

This is the earliest in a season the Kings have fired the head coach, Larry Regan left the coach position to hire Fred Glover early in the 71-72 season to focus on his gm duties.

I firmly believe that Blake had no choice but to hire Stevens after Sutter was fired. I pretty much believe that they virtually guaranteed Stevens the HC job when they promoted him to Associate Head Coach.

With that said, a coaching change could be exactly what this team needs. Also, I believe that one or two players (I'm looking at Kempe and Pearson) may be weeded out for picks or a player.

Which is hilarious. This was it? What was "it" before it? The fact that they were/are the most underperforming team in the league? When is it going to be "it" for their personal accountability?
