Default The blame game, coaching changes, and the ever lacking responsibility...

I keep hearing a lot of talk about the players just not caring enough...blah, blah, bleh, what is a bunch of BS, passion, care all that crap have nothing to do with what is happening, people attribute way too much of this because stupid athletes and coaches make up bogus reasons why they win or lose, because even they don't seem to get it. The most common of which is someone or some team "wanting something more" than someone else and wanting to win more and willing to sacrifice more and that is just plain dumb, and a cop out for the real reason teams win and lose...one team's plan and skill out executed the other team's plan and skill.

If the Kings (or anyone person in their own life) are ever going to get get better, the answer is not a simple cop out of, "we need to raise our compete," "the other team wanted it more," or any other number of like statements.

The only way to get better is to first realize the problem comes from within, you, yourself, at some point alone are the reason for the success or failure, not your teammate, your coach, your owner, your fans, your wife and kids, or the guy at Taco Bell. You!

Now that blame is focused in the correct direction, figure out a fixable to solution to the problem, "work the problem people!" Caring is not a fixable problem by the way...taking a better angle is fixable, shooting instead of passing is fixable, shooting only if there is at least one teammate at the crease, winning more face offs through multiple draw techniques to have more possession, not holding the puck for more than 1 second before passing are all fixable solutions. Again this needs to be a fixable issue that you (the problem) can fix...because...

Once you have a plan to fix your problem, you now have some semblance of controlling the structure of the way you are attempting to execute, and once you are in control of the structure in which you are going to operate, you then control the variables and the things that could happen to you, because the structure can only have so many holes and if you understand where the holes are you can defend against them with relative ease while maintaining your structure, which used to cause you problems (the other team), because up to this point you are dependent, dependent on the other team just not executing and dependency is death in life and in this game.

So spare me the crap about the players not caring because care doesn't win anything, never has (people just say that because they do not want to say or cannot recognize that they executed better or worse). Execution is the only thing that matters at the end of the game and until that message is sent, the blame is placed on each individual (all the way to the top), and they actually have something to fix, to start gaining control of their structure and variables, nothing will change. And when the players all start individually fixing their own problems and stop trying to cover for their teammates lacking execution, watch how fast this team with these players could turn things around.

This team is undisciplined, they are rogue, they all play completely individually and it appears many think they are better than the team and they can solve all the ills by making a play bigger than their skills will allow or that they need to cover for someone else's mistakes because they all seem to have forgotten why they won the cups they did. It wasn't about them being awesome, when they won it was because they weren't awesome and they knew they had to play perfect and when they committed and realized they needed to specifically work their own problems and perfect their individual games without flaw, the team was unstoppable.

The team played to get him fired. It worked. Now on to the next step.

You could search within for a long time and not find more speed or skill. It's more likely a matter of players behaving slowly.
