I can't believe Kings management hasn't offered you a job yet.

The real problem is DL trading away prospects and picks and not adjusting to a quicker paced league. This team has gotten old and slow. The "kids" which brings the average age down are c+ NHLs.

Instead of launching him into the sun, lets put him behind the burners right before takeoff.

Ducks didn't completely drain the pool like the Kings, Blues and Hawks. But they still are old and slow just like us.

Dux have lost 8 in a row. Maybe they are in the process of draining the pool?

They were only competitive because of John Gibson.

I would take Taylor's team of the Palffy era over this crap show any day of the week. Who's to say the Kings wouldn't have won the Cup the year the LAPD line all got hurt?

Loving the enthusiasm but the Kings getting through Detroit, St. Louis and/or Colorado et al...is suspect at best (read: the fix is in). Also, now we're living in a world without Ray Bourque's name on the Cup. Dude, this is like the hockey version of Black Mirror. *shivers*

Bo this post did make me smile and for some reason think of Mathieu Schneider. Good times.

I have to agree with Bo. The LAPD line was fun to watch and Deadmarsh had Detroit's number every time we played them. Who knows what could have happened if everyone stayed healthy. It wasn't just the top line. As I recall we set records for man games lost.

I respect Dave Taylor. He did what he could with heavy budget constraints (aka "Dumpster Dave"). He put together some good players and he drafted players like Kopitar and Quick.
