    Default Is it just me?

I think Kovalchuk may be the worst passer of all-time. We are the best lame team in the league. That's all.

Put him and Kempe on the same line and you’ll have the tandem of worst passer and worst finisher ever.

    Pish-Posh!

"We are excited to add Ilya to the LA Kings organization. He gives us an added element of skill and scoring along with a desire to win. We will withhold further comment until July 1," said Blake.

As I posted elsewhere, what I see around Kovalchuk is a cloud of chaos. There seems to be little rhyme or reason to what he does on the ice. He is certainly not doing much of anything to advance the play of the Kings.

I'm beginning to suspect that Blake signed him to help the Kings tank this season. Brilliant!!!

Mean-spirited toward the new poster, but I laughed out loud.

I wish, but he signed the guy for THREE years.

Not worth the "guaranteed" tank job.

My impression of Chucky all season has been that he really took the idea of playing faster way too much to heart. So many times he almost catches and releases the puck in one motion, like he's determined to move the puck on instinct without wasting any time. Unfortunately, what you end up with is a puck two feet ahead or behind a player who was never even really a target, more like an impression of where someone might be. His actual passes to a teammate, with intention, are fine. In fact, he's had a few nice, cross-ice passes lately that have led to goals.
