Pretty simple, few draft picks from the past few yrs and the step to the big club from the likes of kempe etc... leaves the Reign in a bit of a bind

If you were playing in Ontario would you try and play hard enough to be brought up to the Kings and be embarrassed on an even larger scale?

I think it's the fact that the Reign are practicing at TSC alongside with the Kings and they're picking up on their bad habbits. Plus the fact they now have to hang out all day in a hotel in Ontario on game day.

What about Villardi? Has he come out of his hyperbaric chamber yet?

Just listened to an All the Kings Men podcast. The one after the Blues game, from a week ago

It is mentioned in the podcast that the Reign players are living in the beach cities like the NHL'ers are and practicing at the Toyota facility like the NHL'ers.

The only involvement with Ontario is playing the games out there.

I grew up in an AHL town. Seen and saw many future NHL'ers do their "time" in my hometown.

That's how many of the players referred to my hometown, like it was doing time in jail. They would say this to the media in the NHL city they were called up to, if lucky enough.

Some people like their hometown, some don't. It certainly doesn't compare to getting called up to any NHL city, that's for sure.

Y'know? Kinda like a reward for doing a tough job, very well.

What do you expect when players who loved playing in Los Angeles when it was just a beach club mentality are now running the organization?

It's a fraternity looking out for frat boys. It's from the top down, and the NHL roster was already loaded with players who never liked bring held accountable in the first place: "we need a left wing", "when everybody is good nobody has to be great", etc.

This is a poorly run franchise.
