Watched Muzzin play last night. He did well, but man, you really notice how slow he is, which can be exploited. Never noticed how slow he was in LA, probably because the team is slow overall.

Indeed. Muzzin himself, after last night's game..."It's going to be an adjustment for me, because this is a faster team,"

There was a moment in the 1st period where Muzz made a pass to his D partner in the D zone when he could have moved it forward, and I said to my husband, "Oh, no, no, Muzzy....they don't do that stupid pass in the D zone on this team," and then like 10 seconds later the color commentary guy says something like "Muzzin will need to get used to the neutral zone play of this team where the forwards are expecting that pass right away in the neutral zone, unlike the Kings who spend a little more time setting up before they move up the ice"

Thanks for everything Muzzin. I can't root for you because I can't stand the Leafs.

This type of move - not meaning an exact return package - was at least 18 months too late. The last five years has been nothing short of a ****-covered, tire fire. It is unfortunate it was Muzzin that had to be the one heralding the new rebuild, but a minimum of $7M/AAV after 2020 was going to be a tough haul for this team. Had this type of move occurred sooner, and the standings were different, it could've been us talking about LA being buyers.

    However, let the healing begin.

He played a great game last night with the Ducks getting destroyed... I love seeing that!

Loved seeing him ride Katy Perry into the boards along the bench.

Expected. If they're winning games and he's putting up points, they'll love him. If they start losing and he's a minus, they'll hate him. Enjoy the moment right now Muzz!

He is such a good fit in Tor. After watching Hainsey, Muzzin looks like Chris Pronger
    Kubrick
