    Maybe I?ve caught Brindamour on some off nights, stressed or dumbfounded by the moment but (forgive me Rod) he comes across as kind of a dim bulb/cheerleader. Trotz on the other hand, rock steady. Betting the Isle.

    I think he's just a quiet leader. here's his post-win locker room speech after game 7 (the Canes block out any "bad words" with that annoying goal sound). This is the kind of steady leadership that Sutter brought, too. This is pretty typical of his post-game speeches, by the way.

    Thank you. Not sure that really changed my mind but happy he?s having fun and so are his boys. Now if we could just see those Whalers jerseys on the ice for a game in the series that would improve the Nielsen rating.
