    Default Positive Vilardi news???

    https://theathletic.com/1174690/2019...positive-news/

“Things are progressing,” said Octagon Hockey’s Andy Scott, who is Vilardi’s agent. “With any injury, especially involving your back, it takes time to recover. He’s working through that. He’s doing a lot of mobility stuff.
“We think he’s going to make a full recovery.”

To that end, Vilardi has been spending the bulk of the summer in Ottawa, working with experts, and there has been an improvement in his condition, according to Scott.
    It's his agent talking, so....

Blake did not seem very optimistic last night. He's still not cleared to skate. And it didn't sound like he was anywhere near being cleared to skate.

Who has more hype saving the franchise, Jason Allison or Vilardi? Who will come back first?

I don't want to get my hopes up too much.

If his doctor starts running around Ottawa, screaming, "It's alive! It's alive!", I'll have more confidence.

    Until then, I'll wait.

And Gabriel should not be allowed to do any dancing----Especially to songs that have lyrics
which include the line, "Let your backbone slip".

There’s our LGK — Embracing the Negative with both arms.

But our lowly Kings really NEED this guy’s talent.

I am okay watching the Kopitar led team stumble through another dismal season, but Vilardi & Turcotte could bring back the glory in ‘21/22.

    Hey... it could happen...

I totally could see it happening in 21-22. If I'm Blake, I am in no rush to put any of the top prospects in LA until the big club shows that they have some heart and are pulling out of the slide. That said, it is harder to do what other teams do-- segregate your 'future' and play them in the A while the big club is toxic-- when both practice in the same facility.

The Kings might as well embrace the suck and get another top draft pick and even more assets. Thinking big picture means getting Vilardi back on the ice, living the pro hockey life, and continuing to fix whatever ails his back.

If Vilardi does return, there will be a lot of sad people who can no longer complain about the wasting of a pick.

I'm positive we won't see Gabe this year on the Kings.

Likely in context with the possibility of him playing this coming season...
