No more ice cream? I guess it's just one more reason to stay home. Sometimes I think Luc and the Kings sit around trying to think of ways to punk the fans.

A few thoughts on last night at the Stape…

Kupari and Bjornfot looked real good. As in they will definitely play for the Kings at some point. Loved the way Bjornfot joined the rush. Kupari has a nice allaround game.

Durzi, Rempal, Kaliyev all had good moments.

Kovy was completely invisible. Carter was bad until the back half of the 3rd. He did show some of his old speed though. Vets kept going offside, which was embarrassing. Quickie was shaky and seemingly lacks confidence.

All in all.really glad this was a pre-season game

Hopefully Big Mac plays Thursday and has a go with Reaves

That certainly kicked Roenick's Gong Show dancing to the curb...

And he probably won't complain about the way his skates are sharpened.

For those who were at the game, curious as to how Kaliyev did getting back on d...if he can master that as well as up his fight for pucks he will be up sooner than later.
Was hoping they would put him on PP but I don't think they did last night. What the hell...PP couldn't be worse...let him fire a couple one-timers.

I don't remember anything specific about Kaliyev's defensive play, unlike Kupari who did do some good things on the backcheck. And Kaliyev didn't get any PP time...and Clifford did. Go figure...

I forgot to mention that Brickley was....terrible last night. 1st goal was in large part because of a bad pinch he made. Poor Clague spent much of the game picking up Brickley's errors
