The LA Kings picking in the top 4 of the Draft?
I would say Kings getting a top 4 pick. Would be nice to get #1 but I am dreaming. I believe the Kings have picked as high as 2 twice. Once in 2008 (Drew) and in 1986 (Jimmy Carson).

Another possibility that crossed my mind after thinking about it a little was that the NHL realizes with no Southern Cal team in the playoffs and both LA teams strong title contenders in the NBA there would be no coverage at all here, but with games being played at Staples even without fans there would at least be some cursory coverage locally because all reporters would have to do is make a short visit to Staples Center. Don't get me wrong NBA would still get 90% of the coverage, but if the games were in Edmonton it would be 100%.

Has there been any thought of wearing face shields?

    Are "playoff" teams currently "practicing"?

    Playoffs? Practice? lol

If they do these "playoff" games with no fans, will there still be an organist? music played between the faceoffs? music when someone gets a penalty? An in-arena announcer? Will we be able to hear every swear word said by the players on the ice? And hear the coach's instructions? Or will it just be deathly quiet like watching a pickup game on Livebarn (a service where you can watch your beer league games later when you get home)? When they award the Stanley Cup will the other team clap for the winners and then everyone just skate off the ice? How depressing would it be to be skating with the Cup over your head and no one there to see it.
I feel like games with no fans is just "if a tree falls in the forest, does anyone hear it?" ...Or bowling.
