Magic: The Gathering movie in the works

Not really conducive to a movie but okay.

Just a brand name recognition deal because a Dungeons & Dragons movie is already in the works. Should be pretty forgettable. If Worlds of Warcraft didn't have such upscale talent attached the same rule would apply. File Under:Prince of Persia

I played Magic: The Gathering when I was a teen, but that was a million years ago.

Does that game still exist, lol?

And no, the dolphin won't be watching that silliness, damn you nostalgia.

I'm still kind of mad/sad about Jeremy Irons being in this. I hope he got paid well.

I havent played WoW but one of the expansions they put out had a commercial with great animation. I would think that platform would be ideal for that franchise as opposed to "live" action

WoW quite frankly has no rival as far as MMORPG content is concerned. I've had an account since second beta opened on it and if can say that overall Blizzard just "gets it" in the giving-people-what-keeps-them-interested department. The ever-evolving story behind Warcraft in general has been fun.

I'll go see the movie, of course. But even though I'm a big fan of the game, I don't think I'll be getting my hopes up too high for the movie to be epic.

Margot Robbie in Talks to Play Jane in TARZAN; May Join Chris Pine in Z FOR ZACHARIAH | Collider

OOOOh she was easy on the eyes(not the ears with that Brooklyn stereotype accent) in Wolf of Wall Street, but like Hollywood usually does, they may be overrating her to help carry a tricky(at best...hellllllooooooo Lone Ranger) Tarzan flick. I smell a fail.

She could have had a Boston accent and it wouldn't have mattered. Tarzan, on the other hand, is inherently uninteresting, and you are probably exactly right that The Lone Ranger will be the model, both creatively and financially. A Tarzan movie really is not supposed to be carried by Jane, and even if The Lone Ranger movie itself provides a counterpoint to that theory, making the title character a supporting role and the sidekick the lead role probably contributed to the lack of ticket sales.
