Ironically, my beer habit has never been more expensive. Thanks to the local stores carrying many different independent brewers, my aspirations to try each and every one in turn, and the discovery of my new favorite beer, Moylan's Kilt Lifter.

For a guy who took an hour to choke down his very first can of beer (Bud Light) and nearly wretched, I like to think I've come a long way.

i can relate. Beer wasnt something that i immediately liked, it took me a while. Now i love trying anything i can get my hands on. One of my current favorites is 'Great White'. Its brewed by lost coast brewery in Eureka, CA. Good stuff, they have a few other beers i havent tried yet too.

You can bet your sweet ass i drank me some pabst too over the New Year holiday haha. 7 bucks for a 12 pack and that wasnt even on sale like it usually is.

The best thing about PBR: The writing on the bottom. It says it was voted Best Beer in America in 1893. What has it done the past 115 years?

Still, it's just as good as any Domestic, so why not spend half as much?

Someone did a song back in the late 60's or early 70's called, "my red neck, white socks, and blue ribbon beer".

edit: here's the linky for lyrics. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...4191254AAH7uqY

Who would have thought a thread about Pabst would go 4 pages?

I think I'll buy a tall can or two and celebrate tonight
