Why no NFL team in LA?

Been 20 years.

Can't blame it on the gangland setting of the Coliseum, as the Lambs played in Anaheim for 14 years.

All the other 3 LA pro sports teams have great attendance.

from what I remember, besides Houston ponying up more money. It all has to do with politics. the politicians want the NFL to use old relics like the Coliseum and the Rose Bowl (even though I'd like to see the NFL in Pasadena) and if thats not feasible they want big compensation to develop a new site, which has failed see Farmers Field and Lieweekly's ouster

I'm probably offbase but thats how I remember it.
