MLS finally makes it to the top and has a club that wins CONCACAF Champions League.

Kudos to the Sounders.

As much as I am not a fan of the Sounders, this championship shines a bigger global spotlight on MLS.
It can be said that MLS is now at or near level with Liga MX.

IMHO it's time for MLS to take some of the shackles off of the player transaction rules.
MLS has moved up incredibly in the past 5-10 years, in spit of its crazy, odd, weird rules for player transactions.

Imagine what MLS can become if they could compete better in the world in terms of acquiring players.

It's time for the league to step up...start the process now of rules changes for acquiring players so that when the World Cup comes to North America, the league will be ready to make a big splash on signing players.

Please MLS, don't squander this chance.

oh yes, it will be squandered.

I decided to watch the Kings game last night (sigh) and missed this. And even though it's Seattle, kudos to them. Now put on a good show at the club world cup.
