I don't have a problem with Brazil's penalty, the problem I have is that the player has to dive to be given the call. The Croatia player has zero need to try and grab a hold of Fred but he did and he did it right in front of the ref.
I'm a soccer tourist...just visiting for the World Cup. My parents are from Mexico and I'm USA. So I root for whoever gets the farthest. USA is in the "Group of Death," so it will probably be Mexico, but they're in the group with Brazil. Mexico was robbed of one goal, possibly two goals. These refs make the NHL ones look amazing.
WOW, Netherlands were goal crazy on Spain. Payback for that last WC. They look really strong.
FIFA got it right implementing goal line tech this World Cup, but I could do without the cutaways straight to the goal line tech cam.
Also, this goal by the Swiss with 2 minutes to go, shades of Penner in 2012.
