Don't like this trade as I don't want the Lakers to draft Lonzo... meh.
But geez.. everyone knew how stupid that Mozgov deal was. Someone remind me... why did we overpay him again? Because Luke Walton saw potential in him or something?

LGK is the only place for real die-hard fans. If you're not here, you're not a die-hard. That's how I see it!

As expected, Nick Young opted out of the last year of his contract.

Here we go.
After trading the 28th pick for the 30th and 42nd picks, Lakers select Lonzo Ball at #2, Kyle Kuzma at #27 (Power Forward - Utah), Josh Hart at #30 (Shooting Guard - Villanova) and Thomas Bryant at #42 (Center - Indiana).
Pretty good haul overall.

Hart is a senior, I think the only senior drafted in the first round. Commentators seem to have a lot of good things to say about him. One of the ESPN guys said he would immediately be a rotation player. Has a good all around game.
Byrant is a good three-point shooter for a center, shooting 38%. He's 6' 11" and has a 7' 6" wingspan. I think this probably means the end of Tarik Black's time with the Lakers.
Lakers have also signed undrafted shooting guard PJ Dozier from South Carolina, who made the Final 4 this year.
