I think all of them have, particularly off the ice. You can just see the extra slabs of muscle they put on or just a little bit more confidence. Possibly their shoulders are a little bit higher, their chin is up a little bit more. They feel the part and they’ve earned that confidence. If there’s one guy in particular who stood out to me, just size-wise, I thought it was Kaliyev. He looked like a monster out there compared to last year. He just looks to be a lot sturdier, a lot thicker, and even if his shot could get harder, it looks like it actually did. I think he put in the work this summer. He looks great.

is it me or does Byfield always look like he's sort of cruising? Like, its not that he's behind the play or not making contributions, but he also never appears to be skating hard.

He is looking more like young Tarasenko.

On the other hand, Kupari looks faster than ever. I hope he makes the big team.

You're watching Daryl Evans stream? Is it as impressive as he is?

Anyone that's watched him from the last couple of years has got to have noticed he's almost Mongo like from blazing saddles out there against even men.

i thought Turcotte looked good too. Guy is involved in nearly every play and has some real urgency out there. His game looks like it could mature quickly.

It's his skating stride, I think. Carter looks much the same.
