I think Fox is a lot more toned down when he is with someone who is "better" than him, and when he is with Faust he overcompensates way too much and the broadcast is pretty terrible IMO. I almost always watch the other team feeds.

but our Kings are "cutting edge"....(by the way - KLAA 830 am carries all Duck games)
To be fair, if a radio station was interested in airing the games then the Kings would still be on the radio. I wouldn't be surprised if the Ducks, and other teams, are paying the station to air their games.

Same. No offense to Fox, who I love, but he has not done a good job adjusting to his new partner.

Fox is annoying AF. Every game I get closer and closer to not watching because he just overwhelms the broadcast, not in a good way.

Just read that AM radio doesn't get good reception in electric cars. Many elecs wont even have AM radio in the future.

TV job should have been Nick's. It's even more insulting with the radio to app move. Faust is ok but hearing "entering the fray", "slings it" and other tired phrases every game makes me long for the natural style of NN.

Same memories for me as a kid. Bob was brilliant. His call made every game feel like an event.

I guess my main question is: Did he want the job? I assume so.

I'll say it again in the same thread: I loved Bob. Sad I never got to meet him, though.

PAGE ONE OF THIS THREAD: "Not sure if this little tid-bid ever was public (not to me anyways) - but a caller asked Nick about if he pursued the TV gig after Bob retired or did he just pass to stay on radio.

Nick said he "expressed interest" in the job, but the franchise chose "to go a different direction" with Alex."
