    Default Habs claim Clague

Don’t get it. He didn’t play great defense… maybe he could have learned?

I liked bits of what I saw offensively but this team seemed determined to let him go. Would’ve liked to have seen him stay but also think a late draft pick would’ve been doable.

Nobody is going to pay anything more than future considerations when they know the kings are going to have to put him through waivers. Also, he’s just not good.

Won’t argue about trade value. This feels like a Hickey type loss to me. Wasn’t going to be our best D but couldn’t been there eventually I think. There were signs he could be decent.

Still curious that Seattle didn't claim him in the expansion draft.

No loss. He never panned out and was passed by Durzi who showed a lot more offensive chops in the past week.

Totally agree, I was extremely excited when the Kings drafted Clague because of the potential he had and kept waiting for him to break out. Unfortunately he just seems to be a player who takes a bit longer to develop and unfortunately got passed up in the system. Durzi looked to be much the same up until this season when things clicked.
