Given his sample size so far this season is 1,224 I think it's pretty safe to say that we'd see similar performance whether he faced 25-30 shots or 48. Biron makes a good point though that when the game is on the line, can he step up and be clutch. In many of the games he has played the Coyotes really haven't been in it, so I'm not sure anyone has a clear answer to that question.
Makes sense, but I wouldn't give up Kupari for him even straight up. I think as good as Vej may turn out to be, there are too many question marks (can he thrive in a winning environment within the NHL / Organization with real expectations, how will he do in the playoffs, can he step up and be clutch in key moments, etc) to give up a 1st round pick with top 6 potential for.
