They didn't play 1-2 of their top players, but overall it was a solid win from the US. Some of our players had some egregious mental errors (looking at you, Miles Robinson) but it was a needed win. Stay off the facebook US soccer page where everyone is bashing players even after a 3-2 win.

Ah a little context and a substantive post, nice job. Moog, Ucsd and I have been palling around for a while so sometimes we (me mostly) drift. Okay, Senegal had a lot going for them, so I'll look for them to be a threat in their group.

I am not surprised that EPL is going with more than 150 players because of 48 teams, it's actually 166 but 46 from Saudi league mostly

Funny thing was, I think they were going to let people in with empty water bottles that they could up at fountains/stations in the stadiums, but did a 360. Probably charge you to use a water fountain now too

Gin? This may be an urban legend or a lie a (Irish*) roommate told me but she said she used to drink in class by injecting vodka in her oranges, then eating them at her desk. Is citrus banned at the World Cup?

No vuvuzelas, no body paint, no tatoos as "clothing".

If there is a hell, I'm going and Vuvuzelas will welcome me where I will be forced to stand in line at Disneyland with all of my siblings waiting for the haunted mansion. They'll all be saying: you've just entered a room with NO WINDOWS and NO DOORS!!! It's going to be rough. lol
