Bally's Sports is a joke - as many of us know - the Clippers game was being shown half way thru the Kings pre-game.

The monkey's who obviously run that station pushed the wrong button - then went out for a smoke as it was about 15 minutes of basketball and/or play by play of that game.

Last week - my TV only had the in arena feed. Not the announcers - just the music & in arena announcements. It was like that "announcer-less" NFL game a few years ago.

I did bring this up in the game discussion topic. What was even weirder was it wasn't even the LA feed of the Clippers it was the Suns broadcast.

if it's the same music as their "going to a commercial break" music, then I'm with you! I try to mute as I can tell it's about to go to a commercial because I can't stand it.

There app is always 15 sec out of sync picture and sound that is before the app crashes after 5 minutes. Worst trash ever.

Try it LOUDER. On the app stream, it (and actual commercials) play at a much louder volume than the game broadcast. You can hear the volume switch up by 20 decibels about 3 seconds into the commercial break. It's insane.

I posted this a while back, but Sinclair/Diamond is probably BK. Enjoy the crappy broadcasts while you can because there might not be any at all in the not-too-distant future.

Here's another {bitch} about Bally's:

In years past - the Iheart radio app was behind the TV broadcast. So, when I got sick of Fausty & Foxy - I could "pause" my TV to snyc up with the delayed radio broadcast for Nick & Daryl.

With Bally's - it's the TV that is behind the app. So, my TV isn't even remotely live...behind a satellite based radio app.

So much THIS. I've almost posted this a hundred times and stopped myself just thinking, meh.

I never knew how to describe it exactly either, but whatever that music is that takes the broadcast out to and back in from commercial is just torture.

If my memory serves, this timeframe roughly coincides with the streaming services dropping FS/Ballys as well as the quality of the broadcasts going downhill rapidly.

Beyond their incompetence, there's their marketing garbage. The flashing ads and oversized ticker are so distracting I'm actually watching much less hockey this season. Perhaps their plan is to drive enough viewers away with the advertising that they stop getting complaints about their inability to do their only job.

FSN had superior coverage on all local teams - ANGELS. KINGS. DUCKS. CLIPS

Since the BALLY'S switch: Garbage graphics that hog the screen - Constant missteps with video - Horrible transition music that overrides the announcers - Horrendous camera angles by the "Director" (Hey Director, if a referee/umpire is standing right in front of the shot - SWITCH CAMERAS

Don't get me wrong, Bally is one of the worst broadcasters of Kings hockey in the last 25 years (going back further is tough because it was pretty bad back then but standards were different).
