Please say a prayer for the unnamed CHP officer who is in critical condition with major injuries after being struck by a Tesla on the 5 South while assisting another disabled vehicle in the center divider. I don't envy those Chippies who have to do traffic control on the freeway for this very reason. The overhead lights are like porch lights to all driver moths on the freeways late at night or early mornings.
