ICYMI from yesterday, including an update on Drew Doughty who is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a knee injury. Should be joining the group in a non-contact jersey over the next day or so

It does seem as though #3 is responsible for much of the sloppiness in the defensive zone lately. Hope Durzi gets a chance to play on this call up. He has been excelling in Ontario - more than a point/game so far.

I understand the Kings lost outright 2-0 the other night. Lets take the last 9 games, the Kings gave up 16 goals all the while Roy was in the lineup, to me that is less than 2 goals per game which is outstanding. I'll take that, everyone has bad games once in a while, he had one the other night. He will get better as he plays more.

Hope so, but I think he's been trending down for a few games and then that last game was like he forgot how to play hockey. It was weird. Starting to wonder if he's hurt or something. Assuming not and tomorrow will be a bounce back for him.

I'm thinking Anaheim. it is good to see Doughty is close. He's always been a durable player and quick healer.

Hope Durzi plays well enough tonight to stick around. Kings need offense from the blue line corps so badly - and he is a right shot guy.
