There has been a lot of hockey news to unpack in Los Angeles today — and there is still much more to come.
Following an announcement of the Kings and GM Rob Blake agreeing to mutually part ways, coach Jim Hiller held his end of season press conference, covering a myriad of topics. See here for more on that session.
Soon thereafter, nearly every Kings player proceeded to spend time with the media. Among a long list of revelations were the idea that Trevor Lewis wants to continue playing, details on Tanner Jeannot’s injury, Drew Doughty saying this year’s playoff loss is on the players not the coaches, as well many guys referring to the current group in LA as the tightest off the ice in a long time.
