Earlier this month, Kings GM Ken Holland added five players to LA’s 2025-26 roster via a handful of free agent signings. That list included forwards Corey Perry and Joel Armia, as well as defensemen Codi Ceci and Brian Dumoulin.

Building upon the speculation above, the team officially confirmed all five jersey numbers for their newest signings via a tweet on Wednesday afternoon.
Carter Geroge Update

Kings goalie prospect Carter George had previously been assigned No. 40 and wore it as recently as Development camp just a few weeks ago. Because Rookie Camp rosters roll into the team’s main Training Camp in September, he’ll now need a new number before Sept. 10.
During George’s brief stint with AHL Ontario last season — including a shutout in his first game — the 19-year-old netminder wore No. 70. During his time with Team Canada at last year’s World Junior Championship, he wore No. 30. Both of those numbers are available.
Back home in the OHL, with his regular team (Owen Sound), Geroge wears No. 32, in honor of Jonathan Quick. We’re not expecting that number to be assigned to him in LA.
