After a long summer without hockey, fans are going to get their fill over the next two weeks. LA has three preseason games scheduled this week and then three more next week.

Coming off a 3-1 win in the 2025-26 exhibition opener on Sunday, the Kings will have a morning skate at Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo on Tuesday and then around two dozen of the 50+ players in camp will board a plane for Vegas — where they’ll take on the Golden Knights at 7pm.

How to Watch Preseason

Three of the six remaining games will be on traditional TV, and the other three will be on the Kings new channel on Samsung Plus named SLVR (pronounced: Silver) — we’ll have more details to share on that project soon. For now… It’s a free streaming channel on Samsung TVs, channel 2328, sandwiched between NESN and CBS Sports. Hint: they also show other hockey games and have more content planned soon.

Totally Just for Fun, Why Not?

Many sports fans love speculation, so here’s some. Below is an absolutely, just for fun, no inside information, purely a guess lineup for tomorrow (ed. note: the real lineup will be available tomorrow late morning).

Moore – Danault – Foegele
Wright – Turcotte – Laferriere
Pinelli – Connors – Ziemmer
Jamsen – Lawrence – Ward

Edmundson – Ceci
Hicketts – Salin
Woolley – Brzustewicz

Forsberg
Copley

Why These Games Matter

Even after a few dozen guys move from Kings camp to Reign camp next week, coach Jim Hiller and GM Ken Holland have some key decisions to make before submitting their 23-man opening night roster. LA could easily have to put about five players on waivers who played NHL games last season. Not to mention Liam Greentree’s status, which is a key factor in all of this. See articles linked below for a more detailed overview of both situations.
