77 years ago today, our fathers, grand fathers, uncles, and in some cases, great grand fathers, were crawling their way off the beaches of Normandy, to end real National Socialism. Take time to think about that as you go about your day.
I wonder if in today's world, we would even bother.

Honor a whole lot of American badasses.

Watch ‘The Longest Day.’

Take the Scout out for a cruise.

Cheat a little on the diet with a nice meal out.

Eat the birthday cake my daughter is making me. It’s scratch-made German Chocolate, and yes...I realize the irony.
