Depending on the start time, you should be fine.

Because of the close proximity to the 605, you will have three options of there is a major traffic jam or accident: If the 210 is a mess, drop down to the 10. If they're both bad, you can go even farther south to the 60. But there are three east-west routes from there to get downtown. We had a few jobs out there and even though the drive kinda sucks, the multiple options make it much easier.

I'm assuming the games will be at night, so you should be fine.

And if all three westbound routes are blocked...highly unlikely...take Foothill Boulevard to Colorado. It's slow, but we've done it before...and it's a straight shot and eventually gets you into town.

I'm up in 318 for Game One. Not sure about Game Two, but I want to see both.

Game 1 will be at Crypto on Sunday, it is not official there is no schedule release for playoffs,but don't think they going schedule Edmonton on Monday.
On Saturday there's NBA Lakers game at 5:30 ,it means no Saturday early game possible with potential OT.

Kings will be finishing 3 in 4 nights due to the fires pushing CGY game back.
Oil the same with 1 extra day off after they finish Wednesday.

Teams should get at least 3 days off before starting playoffs.

So they keep saying the Kings are playing on Saturday. They said it today and last game. The thing is the Lakers open the playoffs on Saturday at 5:30pm on ABC. I know per NHL contract that the Kings get priority but 5:30 is really bad unless the Kings play at 10am. Have they been announcing the wrong day for game one?

I think what you’re seeing is just the general announcement that the playoffs themselves begin on Saturday, but the speculation is that the Kings will play their first game Sunday.

It doesn't make any sense. I wish I knew what day I'm going to Game One, but according to the talking heads, the NHL has to wait to see who the Caps are playing first. It makes no sense. In what way does that affect the Kings/Oilers?

One source is speculating that the Kings will play Game One on Tuesday. Another says Sunday. What the hell?
