Buckle up, here we go. With their first preseason game rapidly approaching and opening night only three weeks away, the LA Kings will officially kick off Training Camp on Thursday. Festivities at Toyota Sports Performance Center are set to get underway at 9:30 am, for the first of three on-ice practice sessions, plus a scrimmage.
With 59 players scheduled to begin camp with the Kings, things should begin thinning out next week, around the midpoint of their seven-game preseason slate — which begins Sunday in Ontario vs. the Ducks.
There will be three opportunities to see the Kings play exhibition games in SoCal this year. After the Empire Classic this weekend, there will be a game at the Honda Center on Sept. 24 and then things wrap up at Crypto.com Arena on Oct. 4.
Below is a breakdown of what the team has planned for the next few days. Please note that most players will frequently rotate between groups, with a new mix of guys released each day.
