Kings in 4 Nations Tournament

They’re going to name the rosters in a few days. Does anyone think any Kings are going to be named? The obvious one is Adrian Kempe. After that I don’t think anyone else will. If Byfield or Moore were playing this year like they were last year, maybe they would be considered.

Couldn’t imagine anyone else making it. Pleased to see Dvorak made the cut in World Juniors for Czech, however. He didn’t have a good rookie tournament and didn’t overly impress in camp. He must have picked it up since then for the Reign.

Imagine drafting an LD with size beyond Mikey Anderson who can make an impact in the NHL. One can dream.

I doubt anyone besides Jo0ce will be tabbed for this tourney, and they likely will try to shoe horn the guy in as a 3rd or 4th line winger.

I am in agreement. I’m a Kings fan first, last, and always. These exhibition tournaments hold little appeal to me, and as such, I’m far more concerned about one of our impact players being injured at an event like this.

Here are the final rosters for the 4 Nations -
4 Nations Face-Off rosters announced for USA, Canada, Finland, Sweden

Kempe made it but no one else did. However Viktor Arvidsson. also made it, which is surprising. He's only played 16 games & has 2 goals & 3 assists. Left off was William Eklund of SJ who has 5 goals & 18 assists in 27 games. Also, I don't know what the rules are for adding or subtracting players. But if Doughty is back before the tournament starts, Canada would be foolish not to have him on the team.
