After watching this game, I honestly don’t know how the Oilers don’t get blown out 7 to 4 against every team in the league, which possesses any modicum of skill. The oil are a two man team.

If you say so, but I am also ready to take credit because this was the first shootout of the season I did NOT watch.. my DVR recording cut off at the every end of OT. I assumed the extra point going to Edmonton was a foregone conclusion until I checked the NHL app to see which Oilers did us in..I'm not sure if I should take credit, however, I did watch my first shoot out this season tonight. What a game, Kings might just be the best team in hockey.
My lean is that Byfield played a smart game - it's pretty obvious that if you touch McDavid you will get a penalty while McDavid is allowed to grab sticks, players and pretty much anything else he wants. Also, Byfield is an absolute f***ing pu$$y. The way McDavid manhandled him on several occasions tonight is just sad. The kid needs to be put on an insane bulk program this offseason. I want 15-20lbs of muscle added to that frame. It’s gross watching him get out battled along the boards, and tossed aside like a 12 year old girl in open ice foot races to a loose puck.
Lee and Helenius, on the other hand, looked like physical menaces tonight that Edmonton did not seem to want any part of. I just need them to both crank up the nastiness about 15%.
I’ve met Daryl multiple times. Great guy. I follow him on X and like his posts where he runs through the away cities.Ugh Daryl Evans looks absurd.
Dude, Darryl Evens is the epitome of a gentleman.
This makes me laugh. It was 1993 game 7 Kings/Leafs and I wouldn't get to watch it because of an event I couldn't get out of (almost 100 miles away) so I programmed my primitive VCR and planned it out. I set the sound to inaudible on the TV and decided when I got home I would turn the tv on (the cassette would have long run out) and take a quick peak to see if they were still playing and if so turn it up and watch the finish probably a second OT. I knew not to listen to the radio on the way home nor did I think anyone would bring up the game at the event (very few if any hockey fans). If you say so, but I am also ready to take credit because this was the first shootout of the season I did NOT watch.. my DVR recording cut off at the every end of OT. Bored with whistling in the wind on the way home I remembered there was an automated station that played mediocre completely unknown jazzy type crap (the Wave?) so I thought I'd take a chance and turned it on. One guess at what song was playing...from Queen...
That’s pretty much the norm. I imagine Oilers’ fans read from or copy+paste from the same script after any loss at this point.According to every Oiler fan online - The refs screwed us.
McJesus scored in overtime (completely ignoring him literally running into the goalie before the puck went in)
Friggin' crybabies.
They may have gotten 90% of the calls to go in their favor. But they didn't get 100%. So you see, the refs screwed them.According to every Oiler fan online - The refs screwed us.

Rewatch the game. Byfield held him to 1 point, which he got on the 2 man advantage when Byfield was in the box. Also, Byfield is an absolute f***ing pu$$y.
