***LA Kings @ Nashville Predators GDT 10/25/25 5:00pm on FanDuel***

Congratulations to the following posters who correctly guessed a 5-4 final score:

SirJW (Solo winner!)

Normally I like to sleep on things that irk me but if Kopi is made available for media tonight, I hope they welcome him back and ask him how it felt to not be selected for the shootout in the first time in 20 years.

Hiller is an absolute f***ing idiot. Clearly trying to send a message to Fiala, but if he had sent him out anywhere before the seventh round of the shootout, this would be two points in the bag. What a total dip sh*t.

In case he needs it spelled out, regardless of how anyone plays in regulation, your first 3 shooters for the shootout are Kempe, Moore, and Fiala, followed by Kuzmenko and Clarke. If things get crazy and go into the sixth round and beyond, you look at guys like Perry, kopitar, Byfield, and THEN Danault, Armia, Foegele…

I'd slip Moore down further. JUICE, FIALA, KUZY every game.
CLARKE is round 4
Hell, anyone is better than Perry or Q

Wasn't the final score 5-4 Preds? I'm confused (as usual).🤨

I've said this before, when it gets into a skills competition, I turn it off and wait for the final score to pop up. It was fun the first few years, however, now I would rather not see the game decided like this. They could have OT last 10 minutes and most likely a team will score and if not, one point for each team. This way, the coach will have to use his bench and actually strategize.
Let the game end playing hockey.

Same…and if we win in the SO, I’ll go back a watch. If not, “on to Cincinnati”…

Yeah, I feel the same way too, though I still keep my feed on. Would rather see 3-on-3 OT extended to 10 or even 15-20 minutes to make it more dramatic and exciting. Shootouts are indeed glorified penalty shot contests that break the climax of a hockey game. On the other hand, I don't want to see a hockey game end in a tie like they did in the old days prior to the '04-'05 lockout.
