***LA Kings @ NY Rangers GDT 12/14/24 >>>10AM<<< on FanDuel***

“10am is no time for a hockey game” - says a west coaster

vs.

“10:30 pm is no time for a hockey game” - says every East coast fans watching a Kings home game on T.V.
LOL!
When I was working in DC and living in Rockville Maryland, I had to get up for work at 5:00am, so when I got home from work on the nights the Kings were playing, I had to sleep in shifts...go to bed about 7:00pm, set the alarm for 10:30 go back to sleep at 1:30am, approximately. and get another 3-4 hours of sleep. Talk about a dedicated Kings fan. And this was during our suck years, from '95 to '97!

I also got to say that Kempe has really impressed me in his growth as a two way player. I would of not guessed just how much he's depended upon in D zone situations. Doesn't hurt that the guy next to him has a couple of Selke trophies (should be more...but Bergeron.)
Juice has been that player for the last 4 years. Like Kopi, Kempe is vastly underrated throughout the League for both his offense and defense. And remember, he only lost Fastest Skater in his all star year by .02 seconds to Kyrou. He would be a massive star if he played in the East.

What kept me from throwing in the towel was Bob Miller.

I miss Bob...and Nick is toast next year... hopefully Foxy sticks around, or it's gonna be weird.
Honestly the only people who have made Fox tolerable for me are Bob and Nick. Without them, I'd prefer a fresh start with a new PBP and Color Commentator with chemisty. Definitely hope Evans sticks around in some capacity, though.

Evans is just one of the purest souls out there. Fox is a great guy, don't get me wrong. We got to meet him in the broadcast booth once. But Evans would change the tire on your car, or if you didn't have a spare he'd just pick up that corner of the car and run with it till you drove home.
