Week 10 of the 2025-26 Prospect Tracker features Team Canada extending World Junior Championship invites to George and Greentree, McMorrow dazzling with a spin-o-rama goal, and Slukynsky assisting on an overtime winner. The following reports cover games played through the end of day Monday, December 8th.

Ontario Hockey League (OHL)

Henry Brzustewicz, London Knights, RH Defenseman (31st overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 8 goals, 8 assists, minus-18, 30 PIM in 24 games played

Brzustewicz recorded a pair of assists as London went 1-2-0 and fell from sixth to ninth place in the OHL. On Wednesday, he won a puck battle below the goal line to keep the play alive, notching an assist in a 4-3 loss to Kitchener. In the second game of a back-to-back split with Windsor, he picked up a drop pass at the point, made one defender miss, and fed Jaxon Cover for a top-shelf goal. While the six-foot-two blueliner has room to grow defensively (currently minus-18), his offensive game continues to progress. He’s fired 96 shots this season and distributes the puck effectively from the blue line.

Jan Chovan, Sudbury Wolves, Center/Right Wing (184th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 6 goals, 10 assists, minus-19, 2 PIM in 27 games played

Sudbury split their two-game week, with Chovan picking up a tap-pass assist in a 3-1 win over Sarnia before Oshawa exploded for six unanswered goals in a 6-3 loss. Through 27 games in his first North American campaign, the sixth-round pick has 16 points and awaits Team Slovakia’s World Junior Championship roster announcement, where he’s expected to make his second straight appearance.

Carter George, Owen Sound Attack, Goalie (57th overall in 2024)
2025-26 Stats: 3.12 GAA, .899 SV%, 1 SO, 1 assist, 10 wins in 22 games played

Owen Sound split their back-to-back series against Erie, with George stopping 60 of 67 shots across the two games and posting a .896 save percentage. He allowed just two goals in Friday’s 6-3 victory but seemed to struggle with his positioning and movement across the blue paint in Saturday’s 5-1 loss (despite making 28 saves). Owen Sound sits second in the Midwest Division and seventh overall in a tight OHL race.

George was named to Team Canada’s preliminary World Junior Championship roster and is projected to be the starting netminder when the tournament begins in a few weeks.

Liam Greentree, Windsor Spitfires, Right Wing (26th overall in 2024)
2025-26 Stats: 15 goals, 14 assists, plus-2, 29 PIM in 22 games played

Greentree recorded his only point of the weekend when he fired the puck from the top of the left circle and his teammate buried the rebound. Windsor split their two-game series against London and are fighting for the top spot in the OHL, tied for second and three points back of first-place Brantford.

Greentree was named to Team Canada’s selection camp roster for the upcoming World Junior Championship and will look to earn his spot during the 10-day camp from December 12-22.

Jimmy Lombardi, Flint Firebirds, Center (125th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 18 goals, 16 assists, plus-9, 36 PIM in 28 games played

After recording at least one point in each of the first 10 weeks of the season, Lombardi was held off the scoresheet for the first time as Flint went 1-1-1. Despite the quiet week, the fourth-round pick ranks eighth in the OHL in goals, and is on an 80-point pace that would nearly double his career-high 45 points from last season. Flint is 7-1-2 in their past 10 games and sits in fourth place, four points back of first.

Jared Woolley, London Knights, LH Defenseman (164th overall in 2024)
2025-26 Stats: 6 goals, 13 assists, plus-11, 34 PIM in 27 games played

Woolley recorded two assists as London went 1-2-0 on the week. His first came Wednesday against Kitchener when he dumped the puck from the point around the corner boards, allowing Brzustewicz to recover it in the far corner. Friday brought a power play assist on a give-and-go across the blue line. The two-way defenseman leads all London blueliners with 19 points and ranks fifth on the team overall.

Western Hockey League (WHL)

Will Sharpe, Kelowna Rockets, LH Defenseman (216th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 9 assists, minus-1, 8 PIM in 21 games played

Sharpe’s pointless streak extended to five games as Kelowna split their two-game week against Prince George and Seattle. The seventh-round pick continues to see ice time on the second defensive pairing as the Rockets sit 12th in the WHL with a 13-9-4 record. As the Memorial Cup host team, Kelowna is guaranteed a spot in the tournament regardless of their regular season finish.

COLLEGE HOCKEY (NCAA)

Ryan Conmy, Boston College, Right Wing (182nd overall in 2023)
2025-26 Stats: 6 goals, 5 assists, plus-5, 6 PIM in 16 games played

Conmy recorded an assist off a red-line takeaway as Boston College swept their series against UMass Lowell. The Virginia native has generated 50 shots through 16 games and three of his six goals have come on the power play, showcasing his ability to produce in key situations. He’s tied for third on the team in goals and continues to stay true to his high-volume shooting approach. Following their sweep, BC moved up two spots in the national rankings to No. 13 with a 10-5-1 record.

Kristian Epperson, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (88th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 5 goals, 3 assists, plus-4, 12 PIM in 17 games played

Epperson recorded an assist on Friday against Miami, marking the first back-to-back games with a point in his young collegiate career. The third-round pick fed a pass to the low slot for the goal and now has three points in his past four outings. Denver swept the weekend series and extended their unbeaten-in-regulation streak to 10 games while holding the No. 6 spot in the national rankings with a 11-5-1 record.

Caeden Herrington, Univ. of Vermont, RH Defenseman (120th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 1 goal, 4 assists, minus-7, 10 PIM in 14 games played

Herrington recorded an assist in Vermont’s split against No. 18 Boston University. The Vermont native fired a shot from the point that was blocked, but his teammate recovered the rebound to score. After dropping Friday’s contest 2-1, the Catamounts bounced back with a 3-2 victory on Saturday, scoring in the final minute. Vermont sits at 5-9-0 and ninth in Hockey East.

Brendan McMorrow, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (196th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 4 assists, plus-5, 4 PIM in 15 games played

McMorrow scored his second goal of the season on an individual effort that may be the best goal in college hockey this year. After a takeaway at the red line, the seventh-round pick pulled off a spin-o-rama, button-hooked to create time and space, executed a toe drag to beat the trailing defender, and rifled a shot top shelf glove side. Beyond the highlight-reel play, McMorrow has shown tremendous discipline with just two penalties in 15 games and continues to outperform his draft position.

Given his skill set and high motor play, his invitation to this month’s Team USA’s World Junior Championship selection camp comes as no surprise.

James Reeder, Univ. of Denver, Right Wing (198th overall in 2024)
2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 9 assists, plus-12, 2 PIM in 17 games played

Reeder’s lone point of the weekend came Saturday off a perfectly executed cycle on the far side. He swung back up the boards toward the blue line to feed his teammate for the one-timer. The right winger averaged nearly 18 minutes of ice time over the weekend and his plus-12 rating is tied for fourth on the team, underscoring his two-way reliability.

Hampton Slukynsky, Western Michigan Univ., Goalie (118th overall in 2023)
2025-26 Stats: 2.83 GAA, .887 SV%, 1 SO, 2 assists, 10 wins in 16 games played

Slukynsky and Western Michigan split their back-to-back series against No. 4 Minnesota-Duluth. After making 26 saves in a 4-1 loss, the LA Kings’ top goalie prospect bounced back Saturday with 18 saves in a 3-2 overtime victory. He also recorded his second assist of the season on the game-winning goal in the extra frame. Western Michigan held seventh in the national rankings with a 10-6-0 record and fell to fourth in the tightly competitive NCHC.

Jack Sparkes, Clarkson Univ., RH Defenseman (180th overall in 2022)
2025-26 Stats: 0 goals, 1 assist, minus-1, 16 PIM in 17 games played

Sparkes logged 11 minutes on Saturday, his third-highest ice time of the season, as Clarkson went 2-0 beating Colgate and No. 17 Cornell. The increased playing time could signal a potential shift in his role as the season progresses, and the victory against a ranked Cornell team may mark a turning point for their now 7-11-0 season.

EUROPEAN LEAGUES

Vojtech Cihar, Czechia-HC Energie Karlovy Vary, Forward (59th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 4 assists, minus-2, 8 PIM in 27 games played

Cihar did not play this week due to illness but was named to Team Czechia’s preliminary roster for the upcoming World Junior Championship. Following that event, Cihar is likely to come to North America and join the WHL’s Kelowna Rockets. Ever since his junior rights were traded there a few weeks back, that’s been the prevailing talk surrounding LA’s most recent second round selection. More should be known before Czechia plays its first game of the tournament against Canada on December 26.

Petteri Rimpinen, Liiga-Kiekko-Espoo, Goalie (152nd overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 2.87 GAA, .894 SV%, 1 SO, 7 wins in 21 games played

It was a challenging week for Rimpinen. He was pulled early in the first period of Wednesday’s game against TPS Turku, after allowing three goals in eight minutes; Kiekko-Espoo fell 5-0. He did not start in Friday’s 3-0 loss to KooKoo. The Finnish netminder has been one of the busiest goalies in Liiga this season, recording the second-most saves among all goaltenders with 487 through 21 games. Kiekko-Espoo will need to generate more scoring to ease the burden on their young netminder as they look to improve on their 13-11-5 record and eighth-place standing.

Rimpinen is the projected starter for Team Finland at the World Junior Championship, however the roster has not been officially released yet.
